Saving URL Content
This section explains how to save the graphics that a Web Page/Uniform
Resource Locator (URL) contains as well as any link it has to other
URLs or files.
To save a new URL, it must first be added to the URL Table.
To do this, enter the URL name in the URL field, then press the ADD button and the URL will be added to the URL Table. Depending upon the URL configuration you may need to
provide one or more of the optional components (referring url, proxy, username/password to view.
Once a URL is available in the URL Table, you can save its
contents by selecting it (click on it with your mouse), and then
selecting the Save button.
The URL will then be queued for saving. Once it is saved, the URL
will be automatically saved and all the items and links that are
referenced in the URL page will be added to the URL Table and
are now available for browsing or saving.
To save any of these new items, repeat the steps of selecting the URL(s) to be saved and then press the Save button.
A pop-up menu can also be invoked in which a Save option is also
available and will perform the same task as the Save button.
To automatically save any new content found in the original URL, use
the Save ∞ button or the Save ∞ from the pop-up menu.
Selecting one of these options will cause MoJoServo to continously save
any new content found in the new URLs (that has not already been added
to the URL Table).
MoJoServo has a safety feature that will prevent automatically
searching URLs that leave the base host from which the Save ∞ was
initiated.
